Nuris is mother of three. Currently licensed as an Occupational / CranioSacral Therapist. Additional degrees in teaching, psychology and double Masters (Science and Occ. Ther.) Nuris has been volunteering at the center for
Ginger served as the director of this agency since the beginning and is currently
one of two paid staff. She has four children of her own and, with husband John, has fostered over 200 others; a task that made the need for a center like this obvious. She has always been active in organizations that serve children including the PTA, Family Services Planning Team, Pre-K Early Intervention Council and Drug Free School committee.
Michelle is the mother of three children.
She is a business owner, works for the school board, and is active in
children’s ministry. It is through Michelle's work with Master Gardeners that the center has its beautiful landscaping. Michelle has been involved with the center since its beginning
Mary works as a hair stylist and is the mother of
seven grown children. She comes from New York State. Mary has been a volunteer with us
for twenty years.
Rick's background is as a mental health counselor and has dealt primarily with drug addiction and prevention. He is also a professional actor and has worked in local theater and in movies.
Rick has volunteered with the center since the beginning.
Carol L. Peterman
Carol is a mother of 1, grandmother of 4 and great grandmother of 2. She and her husband Lloyd have been married for 52 years. Carol is a Past President and President Elect of the Citrus Hills Women’s Club and has been chairman and/or committee member of many fundraisers and social events for the Club. She has a background in Public Relations, Management, Computers, Office Duties and Helping Others. Carol has been volunteering at the center for over 12 years in various positions including 2nd Chair for the Christmas Project and is currently the Office Manager/Bookkeeper for the center.
Debbie is the mother of 3 and grandmother of 1. Her background is in
home health and preschool teaching which gives her insight into the
issues of child care and families.
She has been a volunteer for 18 years.
